This is an empty blog except for this notice. I decided to delete all content, and since I didn't save any of it, it is simply gone, unless Google has secretly kept some memory of it somewhere.

A fair question.

I think there are times in our lives when we must or simply do "turn a corner", leaving things behind, whether they are physical things, behaviors, former friends.

Maybe I'm a bit like an artist who creates things which inherently will disappear, like sand castles or sand paintings, or maybe more like the artist who intentionally destroys his own work.

But I have no feelings that the work that I did here was great art or such great writing. Some may blog for some idea of a kind of fame or posterity, but that was never my purpose. When I had some posts that generated a lot of comments I found it discomforting, and I have to add that I don't know why.

So this blog turns a corner and doesn't look back, and people's memories of it, my memories of it will gradually fade. Even so, there is a bit of me that sees the rise in global information content, and the perpetuity of that content as something that is a bit senseless, so if Google doesn't have some cache of my blog somewhere, I've taken the matter out of their hands.
